The Story of Delda

A Dink to the Present

The Satellite here, on his third web site. The King of Spoofs is here with maybe my greatest spoof yet: The Story of Delda: A Dink to the Present, a spoof off of the popular Legend of Zelda video game series!

UPDATE 4/27/07: Heh, I haven't looked at this in a looooooooooong time. Anyways, if you're wondering what's going on, Delda is no longer a comic project. Food Fight Wars: Return of the Foodi still hasn't been finished, yet. Anyways, after making one page of the comic, I ended it. The Story of Delda: A Dink to the Present, and its sequels, A Wind Breaker and Sunrise Duke, are now future projects on the program known as ZQuest, which can be found at ZeldaClassic.com or PureZC, which has better quests on it. That's an update for now, and, once again, I am off.

The Legend (Story):

A long time ago (last week), in a faraway kingdom, the land of Yusteenc, there was a great treasure. Known as the Quadidiot, it is a collection of four golden squares, and when combined, it grants the opposite of the person who touches it's wishes...

One day, a man of large badness, named Fannondork, took this power and spread darkness across the kingdom by flipping the light switch. All hope was dwindling down, and so were the solar-powered appliances. But, when hope and appliances died out...

A strange man dressed in green and had a beard appeared and vanquished Fannondork. It was said by all who saw him that he never opened his eyes, so many thought he was sleepwalking. We are now in the present, back on earth. Here is Dave's house, so let's see what he's up to!

To Understand the Story...

You must first understand Dave. Dave is a very stupid person, and his favorite thing is Antarctica, so therefore, instead of the Hero of Time, he is called the Loser of Antarctica. He calls himself "Dink" in Yusteenc, and his costume is very similar to that of Link's from the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The Quadidiot is divided into four sections:

The Quadidiot of Courage-This square has been hidden from all who desire it. Part of Dink's mission is to recover it.

The Quadidiot of Power-This one belongs to Fannondork. He uses its power to aid him in conquering the kingdom.

The Quadidiot of Wisdom-Ownership of this square belongs to the Princess Delda. Obviously, Fannondork is hunting for her and this piece.

The Quadidiot of No Special Importance-This is Dink's. The only importance it has is its necessity to join with the other three squares to form the Quadidiot. It is also Dave's key to opening the Yusteencian portal in his closet. It has no special importance.

Where I Left off...

Dave's house. Narrator: "Dave is doing something stupid today. How do I know? He always is!" Dave is holding the Dink costume in his arms; the Quadidiot of No Special Importance is lying on the floor. Dave: "I'm going to play dress-up!" He puts on the costume, holding in his hands the Crappy Sword, a dull sword with the blade put in backwards; and the Broken Shield, self-explanatory. Dave: "I wore this costume last week and everyone called me Dink! That night, I had a strange dream
